Little Theatre of Fall River set to open 'Anastasia
File'

The mystery drama "The
Anastasia File" continues the Little Theatre of Fall River's summer
theater offerings.
The
production will be presented at 8 tonight through Saturday, July 25-27 at
8 p.m., and at 7 p.m. Sunday and July 28.
The play poses many questions.
Did the Grand Duchess Anastasia, daughter of Tsar Nicholas II, die with
the rest of the imperial family in 1918? Or was she the girl who jumped
into a Berlin canal in 1920, and died only recently, in her 80s? Is
Anastasia genuine? Why did some of her closest relatives reject her? Was
it for the Romanov millions waiting in the Bank of England? Was it for
some more complex reason?
"The Anastasia File"
brilliantly executes the case with a compelling, final, surprising twist.
The cast includes
Nancy Leary, Robin Richard, Ron Robinson and Ann Flynn. The production is
directed by Stephen Kay, with Lisa Denham as stage manager.
Single tickets are $10 for "The
Anastasia File." Discounts are available for students, seniors and groups
of 20 or more. All performances will be at the air-conditioned Firebarn,
Little Theatre's home at Prospect Street and Highland Avenue, Fall River.
For reservations and
information, call the Little Theatre box office at (508) 675-1852.
