The Little Theatre of Fall River, Inc. invites qualified students to apply for their annual scholarship awards. The applicant must meet the following criteria and fulfill the identified requirements to be eligible for the award.
Little Theatre of Fall River Scholarship Awards
LTFR Scholarship Award and/or Little Theatre/REX Performing Arts Scholarship Award
The
Little Theatre of Fall River, Inc. invites qualified students to apply for their
annual scholarship award. The applicant must meet the following criteria and
fulfill the identified requirements to be
eligible for the $1,000.00 award.
Criteria:
1. Resident of the Greater Fall River area, to include Assonet, Berkley, Dighton, Fall River, Freetown, Rehoboth, Somerset, Swansea and Westport; or a resident of Tiverton or Little Compton, R.I.; or a participant in Little Theatre productions.
2. An entering freshman or a continuing student majoring in an undergraduate or graduate program in theater arts, music, or dance at an accredited college or university. Primary consideration is given to a graduating high school senior.
3. Able to use the award in the 2011-2012 academic year.
Requirements:
1. Completion of the Little Theatre Scholarship application. (available in your guidance office or via email below)
2. Three letters of reference, one of which must be from a teacher of theater arts, music, or dance.
3. An official high school transcript and letter of acceptance from the
college or university, specifying your intended major. (An acceptance letter
and a separate letter from the college specifying your intended major will also
satisfy this requirement.)
4. An essay of no more than 250 words in which you discuss why you have
chosen to major in theater arts, music, or dance.
5. Completed application and enclosure of required materials must be received
by Little Theatre no later than May 9th, 2011.

Little Theatre/REX Performing Arts Scholarship Award
The Little Theatre of Fall River, Inc. invites qualified students to apply for their annual Little Theatre/REX Performing Arts Scholarship Award. The applicant must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the $500.00 award.
Criteria:
