Guillotte and Zucco family

Members of the Guillotte and Zucco family most definitely share a love of music and theatre. Interestingly enough, five members of the troupe are in the ensemble of the next main stage Little Theatre of Fall River production, Les Miserables. In fact, the directors of Les Miserables, Deborah Sadler and Roberto S.C. Soares, had no idea that these family members were even related at the time of auditions! All have been wonderful additions to the cast, and the artistic team of Les Mis could not be more pleased with their enthusiasm, work ethic, and musicianship.

Mary-Lee Guillotte, the matriarch of the family, is grandmother to Jillian Zucco, Jonathan Zucco, Samuel Guillotte, and Emma Guillotte. Danielle Guillote, Emma’s mom, Danielle, is a LTFR member and part of the stage crew for Les Mis.

Mary-Lee has been singing for over 45 years. She played the lead in Brigadoon and has been a featured soloist and performer in the area since then. Her husband, Ronald, is also a singer, and together they have raised a family that has been very successful in the arts community of southern New England for many years.

You may recognize Jillian as Miss Fall River 2013 and Miss New Bedford 2014. Her involvement in the Miss America Scholarship Program in addition to her strong academics and community service background has helped her as a nursing student at UMASS Dartmouth. Jonathan, who you may have seen as Oliver in Oliver and Chip in Beauty and the Beast at New Bedford Festival Theatre, is currently an engineering student, also at UMASS Dartmouth. Both Jillian and Jonathan were very active in the theater department at Old Rochester Regional High School, and they continue to perform in various community theaters in the area. Samuel attends the Rochester Memorial School, and Emma, who plays Young Eponine in Les Mis, attends Somerset Middle School. Both children share a love of music and are also active in community theatre, vocal troupes, and arts camps in the area.
